25+ hikes last year and I had to go to the States to see my first and only (so far) bear in the wild. Go figure…
The road to get to Mount Baker is amazing in itself. Nice hike too!

We were up in the foothills of Mount Baker in September and had a wonderful time. Didn’t get to see any Bears, but what with the berries being on shorter supply, it would not have been a good year to be viewed as a competitor to the foot supply.
I only hope we get another chance to do some hiking up in the area again.
